Thilo studied jazz, fell in love with brazilian music and has toured as an improvising pianist for many years. Currently he is working on reshaping his means of artistic output, studying electronic sound art and seeking interdisciplinary collaborations across the contemporary arts. For a certain period, he has been dedicated to traditional protestant and secular renaissance music, exploring the organ and other key instruments for further inspiration.
His artistic output appears as a unique, mostly spontaneous flow of sound that embraces all of these different ingredients. Focussing on honest emotion and beauty in simplicity, he creates and performs across various instruments, countries and styles.
